Hello and Welcome! 

My name is Heather. 

 

In September 2020, I got married and moved from my family home in Glasgow to Lochalsh area of the Scottish Highlands. Trading city life in the Central Belt has been a big step, but something that I have really loved so far. 

 

The amazing thing about the Scottish Highlands is just how much there is to explore in this vast part of northern Scotland! There is so much more to the Highlands than most people even realise.

 

So this is where this blog comes in! I really want to take the time to explore all the nooks and crannies of this amazing Scottish wilderness From the mountainous regions to the coastal areas, towns and cities to teeny villages, I hope this will be a place to showcase just how wonderful and diverse the Scottish Highlands (and their surrounding areas) are!

Some more about me: I'm a Christian. Jesus Christ has played a massive role throughout my life and led me to the point where I am at now. I really hope I can also use this space to share my own faith and how my hope in Jesus affects my day to day life.
