A Year of Heather and the Highlands

It's been a year since I started Heather and the Highlands! I can't quite believe it!

For so long, having a space to share my adventures in the Scottish Highlands and a space to share my faith was something I really wanted to do. It just seemed like a really great way to challenge myself in my writing and explore my new home.

But, as with a lot of things in my life, I really doubted whether or not I should do it. Would anyone read what I write? Would anyone care about what I have to share about my faith and the Highlands? What if I couldn't keep it up after a few months?

But I took the plunge and I am so glad I did. This last year of writing regularly simply because I enjoy it has been so amazing. Having a reason to go out and explore the Highlands has really helped me feel at home in my new home. I just love the Highlands and I love having the opportunity to share more about the Highlands with you all.

To everyone who has read my blog posts over the past year, thank you so much. It really means so much to me that you've stuck around. I have some really exciting plans for the future, so I hope you will stick around to see what happens with Heather and the Highlands for the next year and beyond. 🎉
