Happy New Year everybody!
I've spent a few weeks off enjoying time with family and friends and simply chilling, which has been a really refreshing change for them after a pretty busy 2022. But now, I'm back at work and ready to get going again, including starting to get back into sharing my adventures in the Scottish Highlands again.
Explore the Highlands using a different mode of transport
As you know, I love exploring the little nooks and crannies of the Scottish Highlands. However, most the time when we do this, we travel by car. This year, I really want to try exploring the Highlands in order ways. Whether that's going on a boat tour around a Scottish island or loch or hitching a ride on a train through the glens, I really hope this year is a time when we get to see the Highlands from a different view.
Explore some the the big sights in the Highlands
It's funny how little of the Highlands I've actually seen, even though I've lived here for the past two and a half years. In particular, I've actually never really been to a lot of the sights that many people come specifically to the Highlands to see, such as a cruise on Loch Ness, the Glenfinnan Viaduct and the Culloden Battlefield. This year I really hope tone able to tick some of these things off my Highland Bucket List.
Start my Monthly Newsletter
I shared a bit about this last month on my Instagram, but 2023 is the year I hope to start sharing a monthly newsletter. In it, I'm hoping to spend some time reflecting on what the last month in the Highlands has looked like, some things I've been enjoying lately, as well as what I've been learning from God over that month. I really hope this is something you'd be keen to hear a bit more from me each month, so if you are keen to sign up for my newsletter you can sign up at the bottom of my homepage.
Thank you for being here as I head into the New Year. I'm so excited to see the ways that God will continue to lead and guide me through 2023 and where this year will take me over the beautiful Scottish Highlands.
