Trusting His Promises

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways submit to Him,

and He will make your paths straight."

Proverbs 3:5-6

I recently finished a course I've been studying for the past 3 years. At times it's been challenging. At times I've wanted to quit. Throughout it all though, God has been faithful to me. He has shown me the way to go.

Just as I was finishing my last submission last week, this rainbow appeared in the sky. In Genesis, God puts a rainbow in the sky as a sign of the promises that He had given to Noah. Seeing this rainbow last week was a reminder of His promises and faithfulness to me throughout the years.

These verses from Proverbs have been a real encouragement for me over these past few years. As I step into this new season of putting all I've learned into action, I pray that God will help me to trust Him and lean on Him.
