for there I find delight."
Psalm 119:34-35
I just love that word delight. It is such a beautiful word. As a girl who loves reading and writing and how words string together to form stories, there are few things I love more than words that really evoke what they mean. Delight is one of those words.
However, I'm not sure you'd be quick to say that you delighted in the "path of your commands". This psalm is all about reading and loving God's Word, something that I still find a struggle in my Christian faith. If I don't have a good routine, I find it easy to forget to read my Bible. It's the first thing I forget.
I've already mentioned how much of 2024 has been dominated by spending time reading and refecting on God's Word. It hasn't always been easy, but I've found it really helpful for growing in my faith.
And slowly, I am starting to find my delight in God's Word.
